Bridget in something slightly larger then a nutshell -
I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with the media. I graduated in ‘06 with a BS in Communication Studies and two minors - one in music industry and one in creative writing.
On the internet I’m a slightly to the left of center (because it’s so much more interesting that way) self-confessed fangirl. Off the internet I have a much greater control over my impulses.
I enjoy my fandoms - there aren’t many of them admittedly but I enjoy them greatly. They’re my escape from the stresses of everyday life.

- Stargate SG1/Atlantis (Universe pretty much doesn’t exist in my brain)

That’s all without getting into music. Even trying to touch upon that would be detrimental to both yours and my mental health. Needless to say, music is my life’s blood and oxygen all rolled into one. I’ve worked around live music in some capacity from the time I was 16 until 2 years ago and I can’t imagine not being able to do that again one day. The range of artists and genres that I enjoy is immeasurably vast. But I will admit I have a certain soft spot in my heart for truly independent artists (yes, I appreciate the irony in being a one time concert promoter who would make more money off the major label acts).
There’s much more to me of course; but this is tumblr and well, to me it’s meant to be lighthearted and fun…with a heavy dose of snark right on top.
