I feel like I’m losing my love of this show/fandom with every single new episode…
‘cept for The Bubble. I still love The Bubble.
Everything that goes on in canon lately has been breaking my heart to the point that I can’t even dredge up enough conspiracy theory enthusiasm to “squint” and make Puckleberry happen in my head (thus my lack of writing lately).
Also, my best friend (very strict vegan) and I (was a vegetarian for 8 years) sat in Starbucks last night and wrote a ‘strongly worded’ letter that we are debating sending to “20th Century Fox Television”, “Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision” and “Ryan Murphy Television” over the fact that Finn knowingly fed Rachel meat and told her it wasn’t meat in the last episode. We both found it utterly disgusting that they tried to play something like that off as remotely acceptable behavior (or ‘funny’). Not to mention the fact that behavior such as that incredibly undermines their argument that Finn is in love with Rachel - when I was a vegetarian if my boyfriend had fed me meat and told me it was veggie-meat and I found out about it (cause I would; mostly when I got violently ill after the fact from not being used to eating animal protein for so long) it would very quickly be the end of our relationship. It shows an incredibly lack of respect towards a persons life choices and without any respect there is no love. I can almost understand mixing up vegetarian/vegan (ie: dairy) but there is NO WAY IN HELL someone can confuse eating a carnivorous diet and eating a vegetarian diet.
Sort of tempted to send it somehow to Lea Michele as well, being that she’s a vegan herself and while she obviously doesn’t have control over the storylines; a little bit of protest would have been nice.
